Meet the staff at Animal Therapy Center!

Rehabilitation is a team effort at the Animal Therapy Center. While your pet will be evaluated by our veterinarian on your first visit, you can expect to spend time with one or more of our team members over the course of your pet’s treatment. All staff meets regularly to discuss cases and share ideas for improved treatment plans.

Allison received her certification in canine and equine massage therapy in 2013 from Equissage in VA. She comes to the Animal Therapy Center with over 11 years experience as a veterinary general practice nurse, 2 years of which were spent as a surgical nurse in orthopedics. She discovered an interest in rehabilitation after spending so many hours in the surgical suite and wondering what happens to the patients after they leave the care of the hospital.

Allison is currently enrolled at Penn Foster College to complete her certification as a veterinary technician. When not at work, she shares a home with a wonderful husband, their daughter, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a horse. In her spare time you can find her outside at the farm where she enjoys riding her horse and working on her equine massage therapy skills.
