Matt received his Bachelor of Arts from West Virginia University in 1999. While back home in Quakertown, PA, working as a substitute teacher in the Palisades School District, and working as a veterinary nurse, the family pet Webster, a boston terrier, had a spinal stroke and became paralyzed in his hind end. Helping him recover from his
injury started Matt’s love of animal rehabilitation.

In 2003, he took the course for canine rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee/Northeast Seminars. He has been a practicing rehab nurse since. He joined the Animal Therapy Center in 2022. When he is not helping patients recover, he is enjoying life with his wife, Vanessa, foster daughter, and Brittany puppy. They love being outdoors, hiking, camping, rock hounding, and music.
